Year 5 have been learning all about life in Ancient Egypt. They researched what the Ancient Egyptians looked like and what clothes, makeup and jewellery they wore. They painted themselves as Ancient Egyptians and designed collars and headbands to wear.
They also found out about Ancient Egyptian writing and wrote their names in hieroglyphics in a cartouche beside their paintings. Only those fluent in Egyptian hieroglyphs will know who is who!
